Apple iPod

Apple is the most brilliant company in the universe. Where would we be without them?

The answer is simple: WHO KNOWS????

They have come out with so many amazing inventions with so many amazing functions and so many amazing this and amazing that and people can not help but marvel at this company's technology. Yes, after all why wouldn't they be? Apple seems to come out with new things each month and it almost seems as though the iPod you bought last week is already considered old fashioned.

My opinion: It's become a complete waste.

After all, iPods are now completely average. If you have one, so what? everyone else does too. If you have an iPhone, you are lucky...for now. But since the iPod is no longer rising and everybody has one, Apple seems to have lost its need for high quality devices. The number of people asking about how to reset or unfreeze their iPods has gone up drastically. Is that saying something???

Of course, I have an iPod too. It is almost two months old. And I need to reset. No, I don't mean the reset where you "toggle" the hold switch and then hold the menu and select buttons down simultaneously, I'm talking about the kind of reset that erases basically the entire hard drive. However, I have one small problem. To do this, either you need a working iPod, which sort of defeats the purpose, or you need to plug it in to something. My iPod doesn't recognize the computer, and the computer doesn't recognize my iPod. So how does Apple plan to help people with similar problems?

They have the Five Rs:
  1. Reset
  2. Retry
  3. Reset
  4. Reinstall
  5. Restore
What is with all the "re's?" Why didn't it just work the first time? I mean, this would be so helpful and kind of Apple to set this up on their website...but until I can connect my iPod to the computer, it still doesn't work and my only option is to take it to an Apple store and have them reset it for me. Fun.

So maybe I'm just incredibly pissed that my iPod just died on me. But maybe not. Apple is a huge company and it is growing every single day. People are becoming scarily dependent on them. Hello? Anybody else find this slightly unnerving?

P.S. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW I CAN RESET MY IPOD WITHOUT VISITING A STORE, PLEASE TELL ME!!!!

to reset your ipod first stand on your head... then pic your nose with your toes and then....kidding!!!!!!!!!!
to actually reset your ipod turn on the hold button and then turn it off sorta fast... then hold down the center and menu button at the same time for like 10 or 15 seconds... i think thats how you do it!!!!! or you can bring it to school and i can do it for you! bye!!!
