Support:
- Young children can't use the stove.
- Microwaves are better for the enviroment.
- People will have to ask many others.
- Taste the same.
We're planning to send a package full of these letters in the future.

Valero
Valero looks open but all the pumps have signs that say Out of Order
Thursday, November 29
Valero
There was this little place
A place we called Valero
And it was in the race
The race of all gas stations
To get the lowest price
And Valero's remained the same
Winning not once, but thrice
That is what we believed
And that is what we thought
Until that fateful day
When there, some gas we sought
Four signs read "Out of Order"
All the pumps were closed down
Until they open up again
We shall all wear a frown
And Ode to Valero by Jaimie Leom

Uncle Sam
Sam Wilson supplied meat for the US military stationed in New York in the War of 1812. Each container of meat was stamped with a "US" for the United States. However, when a federal inspector was checking the meat, he was informed otherwise. A smart-alec employee told him that the "US" actually stood for Uncle Sam, the nickname given to Sam Wilson. The word spread and not long after, everybody knew that the "US" was for Uncle Sam. It was in the early 1960s that Congress named Sam Wilson as the official Uncle Sam.

The History of Duck Tape
People often argue with me that it is duct tape not duck tape and that Duck Tape is just a brand. So I would like to be clear about this because it was, indeed, originally duck tape.
During World War II, they needed a waterproof tape that could be used to keep all moisture out of ammunition cases. Because of it's job, people referred to it as duck tape. After a time, more uses for duck tape were discovered and it began to be used for almost everything that the military could think of. The war was over and the housing industry was in its prime. It was then that some dratted person figured out that duck tape was great for heating ducts, etc. and they changed the name to duct tape just so that they could confuse people.
- Duck Brand is manufactured by Manco, a Henkel Group Company
- Duck tape was originally manufactured by Johnson and Johnson Permacel Division
- Duck tape was originally green, not silver
- Duck tape and duct tape are still the "Ultimate Power Tools"
- Duck tape and duct tape can fix anything
