Throughout the Years
I've done some comparison with the current gas prices and last year's first entry gas prices.
As you all know, gas prices have dropped down to $2 from $4 pretty quickly. A couple of reasons are that people are being more conservative for the enviroment and that people are being more conservative with money. Basically everyone is being conservative fro one reason or another.
Lowest Price Seen: $1.95
October 11, 2007 Lowest Spotted Price: $2.53
That's all for now folks!

Posting Whenever
I know this post is tardy and I know it's been a while but what's up!
Apparently we have no viewers!!!!
Now, we know the excuses, too much homework! And we agree so that's why we decided that we will post whenever we want to whenever we can! Thanks for your understanding and keep checking us out! (If we see a vote in the polls not from us we might reconsider this...

The Weekly Leaf
Welcome Back
Welcome back Jamie! Hope you had fun on your trip! Hopefully you'll tell us a little about it and post!
Coming Soon! Gas Prices Weekly!
Coming Soon! Gas Prices Weekly will now again have gas prices up on our blog! We know that there might be an increase because of hurricane Gustav and that the oil ships in the Gulf of Mexico had to be evacuated. We hope you understand that this might happen again because of other hurricanes that might hit. It's better to just walk on foot anyway!
School
For most, now school has started. I hope that this year opens new doors for you!
New Bouncy Topic - Music
Here's some of my current favorite songs... (Actually there more like songs I like that I can think of.)
- Summertime
- Hot and Cold
- Paper Planes
- American Boy
- Closer
- Check Yes Juliet
- One Step At a Time
- Forever
- Shake It
- Disturiba

Sorry
Sorry that I didn't post last week everything was really wild! School starts soon so lots of work has to be done!
Viewers
Woah! Since when did we have so many viewers that there are six people voted in the polls! That's awesome! Well, welcome back long lost viewers! We missed you! Go ahead and comment to say hi!
Gas Prices
Elmo and Jamie have not been to Manchester in a while so we were unable to post the gas prices and really keep track of the drops and rises. We have noticed a drop and we hope that that's countining! Cars should all be converted to vegetable oil because I think we have plenty of that. But who knows! There might be a shortage of vegetable oil in the world.
School
Yes, school is starting again and people have mixed feelings but looking on the Elmo side (bright side) there are many reasons to enjoy school!
- How many friends didn't you see over the summer? Don't you want to see them?
- You get to use lots of shiny school supplies!
- You get to start the fall sports again!
Discourage anytime? Comment and Elmo will help you look on the bright side!

The Weekly Leaf
Hey y'all! It's still Jamie right now because Elmo is off visiting Mars for two weeks. This coming weekend, I'll be leaving to go to college. Okay, maybe not, but I really will be at a university. I'm not entirely sure if I'll have access to a computer, so Elmo will have to see if she can get a wi fi signal while she is on Mars.
Ways to Stay Cool in the Very INTENSE Heat
- Stay Inside - Everyone who follows this rule is a LOSER! Go outside, losers!
- Eat Ice Cream in Large Quantities - This is probably going to be the best rule ever invented...until you get sick, then it won't be too fun. But until then, get your spoons ready!
- Go Outside, But Stay in the Shade and Don't Run Around a Lot - Once again, this rule is for LOSERS!!! Hello? You're all hyped up off ice cream! Run out the energy!
- Swimming - Actually, swimming is a really good idea because, unless the water is 100 degrees, it's hard to be too warm when you're swimming around and you're even using up some energy! (gasps)
- Wear Sunglasses - Come on, everyone knows that all the cool people wear sunglasses. So, wear sunglasses! Be cool!
Samuel was out for a walk when it started to rain. He did not have an umbrella and he wasn't wearing a hat. His clothes were soaked, yet not a single hair on his head got wet. How could this happen?
Find out the answer in a few days!
Okay, you've probably noticed that all the font is the same size. Well, obviously, last week, I had some issues with the font sizes so I decided to leave them alone this week.
Ladedah!
Jamie
Okay, today is Friday the 18th! The answer to the riddle is that Sam was bald! Get it? haha.
Anyway, I would also like to announce that this post was number 99 and that means that when Elmo comes back, she will have the honor of being post 100!!! Yeah Elmo!

Hey y'all, this is Jamie right now. Truly shocking...I know.
Schedules
Elmo will be gone next week and I'll be gone the two weeks after that. So updating the blog will be sort of spottily done.
Environmentally Friendly Cars
Ever heard of Tesla Motors? Well, start listening (reading?) because their cars run entirely on electricity. Not only that, but the Tesla Roadster is absolutely gorgeous! Save the environment and buy a Tesla! ...and then give it to me because I'm awesome!
Recommended Books
If you're bored this summer, I would recommend checking out the library and seeing if any of these awesome books are in:
- City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
- Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
- The Host by Stephenie Meyer
- The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
- Uglies by Scott Westerfield

Wednesday
Yes, I am posting this on a Wednesday. That is because I have received an iPod and I like to play with it. It is fun. This is weird.
Why I've Been Lazy About Blogging
Reason 1: I have a very busy life that includes many activities and friends. I like to spend time with these friends and do activities too. Please understand that I am a very busy Elmo.
Reason 2: It's summer!!!! Look at your window and you'll believe me. Now that school is about to end (or has ended for some) the pressure of homework is off of me. That means that my old school hours are now fulled with organizing, cleaning, hanging out with friends, camps, swimming, running, swimming, vacation, and being outside. My computer is inside but I'd rather be outside.
Reason 3: Blogging use to be 'all that' and everyone was checking out each other's blogs but since that has died down we have basically no viewers. And if you are viewing us please vote in the poll so we can see.
As you can see there are many reasons that are important.
Summer
I'm wishing all of the viewers of Gas Prices Weekly the most awesome summer ever! This summer have the most fun you actually can.

The gas prices has been mellow for this week which is good and I hope to keep it that way. You don't need to drive everywhere. Make sure that you limit yourself to when you drive, where your diving to, and who your driving with (lots of people!! CARPOOL!!!!)
Sick
Elmo has come down with a disease this disease is called many things. The Elmo disease, bloggers cold, nose, eggplant, Elmo, and cold/hot. This disease should hopefully disappear by Thursday. Thank you for your concerns.

Summer is Better
So, I have seen the number of votes in the polls and I can see that the number of viewers has gone done since the sudden rush. Of course, those people might have not thought this blog was interesting but still, they could look at it. Any who (lol that sounds funny) I'll probably get more viewers in the summer. Even though it's the summer people tend to be around more and also, what are you going to do at 10 pm at night? CHECK OUT BLOGS!!!!! Well, let's just hope that there will be more viewers in the summer. I do know some blogs that have closed until the summer... (not us!!!!)
Losing Work
When saving isn't always a possibility many people are stuck with saving there work will typing. I have just not saved sometimes and completely lost my work. It can be very frustrating and annoying. Here's a tip: Highlight all your work and copy it, that way, if you lose it all you have to do is paste your copied work!
New Video
Check out the cool new video!!! Watch it again and again and again and again!!! So cool!

I have realized that Jamie was right, I missed typed our friends blog. Please she the post before this for details.
Riddle
You people are mean! No one responded or guessed on the riddle!!!! I'll just have to make up an answer!!!
Problem: 1 + 90= 101 (How?)
Answer: 1 invited her/his/its friend 10 to the party/problem to join 90 and him/her/it. 10 accepted and so the problem/party was changed to 1 + 90 + 10= 101!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAH!!!
Blogging
There has been a disease going around for bloggers and blogs. This disease is when the blogger invites viewers so there blog and viewers only look at the blog once or twice. This gets very very annoying. This problem is happening to Gas Prices Weekly and we want to make the point clear the spreading the word about this blog is well appreciated. If you do this please contact us via email or comment on a post and we might post your blog or favorite website on ours. (Yes, this can be considered a bribe, and I know that Jamie will be mad at me for doing so but I want more viewers!!!!!!!!!!!)
Outside
I'm sure most of you have been introduced to outside and if not it's never too late. It's the end of Spring and almost Summer so it's beautiful weather. Go outside and have fun!!! In fact, that's why we haven't been posting so often.

The Latest Report
Gas Prices have been up and down but this is last weeks report.
Gas Prices went rocketing up last week during the beginning and then, for a day, plunged down a little but now, 3 cents is a lot. One way to prevent the gas prices to continue this way is to invent a car that does not use oil but natural resources or other resources. Even if you are young, your parents or siblings are paying this and it may affect your travel. So get your creative mind rolling for new and brilliant ideas!

Reduce! Reuse! Recycle!
I know a tune
To help you remember
What you are suppose to do!
"The Three Rs" by Jack Johnson
To Reduce- Use reusable bags when going to the grocery store or other stores. This way you reduce the use of plastic!
To Reuse- Don't throw out those half used pencils! Reuse them! You can also have a yard sale so people can reuse your stuff.
To Recycle- Though this is a little self explanatory, recycle...
- Plastic bottles
- Plastic jugs
- Glass bottles
- Aluminum cans
- Tin cans
- Paper
- Newspaper and Magazines
- Cardboard

Energy to Save!!!
Now that it's spring with daylight hours becoming longer, when you wake you in the morning, ignore that pulse to turn the lights on. Instead open your window shades and let the light pour in!
Projects to Do!!!
Having to get that project done that's due umm... soon? Why are you reading this? Once your done reading this get to work! Do your work in 30 minute sessions and take a 3 minute break. Go outside and run around your yard three times than grab a glass of water and drink it! This way you'll become more focused on your project!
Spring!!!
It's spring so go outside and run around! Play games with your siblings and pets. Take a nice long walk to the store and grab some stuff to play with outside! Remember that spring goes by fast and then comes summer. You have lots of plans on your mind...
This has been Elmo with your Weekly Leaf! Talk to you later

Runner's Guide
Running is a great way to relax, get healthy, delete extra energy, spread time with friends, and have fun!
Getting Started:
Equipment
- Running shoes (in good condition)
- Water bottle
- Stop watch
- Track or measurable road
- Optional: Pedometer
- Optional: Music Player
To get started start with a short length and slowly increase in length. Just remember to push yourself and never give up because you can go long if you try. Try not to push yourself too much through. Record distance and time on a long and don't always run really far everyday. Some days do short distance runs, other days do medium distance runs, and other days do long distance runs. Just remember to have fun with it!
~Elmo
P.S. This is Elmo's point of view, everyone has one so comment so we can see yours!

So do you like this new thing? Posting everyother day or so. I think it's nice and that way you know when to expect more.
So, what was on my mind is about the world! Have you ever seen those really dramtic photos of the ice caps melting and stuff well it's all TRUE!
Polarbears are drowning because they can't find icebergs! This is not good!
Take steps like turning off electronics and lights (look on the sidebar for more ideas)! Each thing you do is helping!
Another way to go green is to buy cars running on at least 32 mpg and above! If you can. Also try to walk down the street to go to places!
Everyone of the world! We need your help to survive!

Spring
In my mind spring is finally her and with spring comes a new burst of energy for two things!
One is to go outside and get active! Few things to do outside: play catch or fetch ;), run or walk or jog, play lacrosse, play soccer, bike, swim (indoors?), read, sleep, climb, swing, play baseball/softball, play tennis or badmitton, and lots of more stuff!
Another thing is go green! Save that energy by turning off lights and using the sun as the light! Use both sides of that homework sheet! Instead of watching T.V. or going on the computer go outside! Go green to keep our plant!

Apple iPod
The answer is simple: WHO KNOWS????
They have come out with so many amazing inventions with so many amazing functions and so many amazing this and amazing that and people can not help but marvel at this company's technology. Yes, after all why wouldn't they be? Apple seems to come out with new things each month and it almost seems as though the iPod you bought last week is already considered old fashioned.
My opinion: It's become a complete waste.
After all, iPods are now completely average. If you have one, so what? everyone else does too. If you have an iPhone, you are lucky...for now. But since the iPod is no longer rising and everybody has one, Apple seems to have lost its need for high quality devices. The number of people asking about how to reset or unfreeze their iPods has gone up drastically. Is that saying something???
Of course, I have an iPod too. It is almost two months old. And I need to reset. No, I don't mean the reset where you "toggle" the hold switch and then hold the menu and select buttons down simultaneously, I'm talking about the kind of reset that erases basically the entire hard drive. However, I have one small problem. To do this, either you need a working iPod, which sort of defeats the purpose, or you need to plug it in to something. My iPod doesn't recognize the computer, and the computer doesn't recognize my iPod. So how does Apple plan to help people with similar problems?
They have the Five Rs:
- Reset
- Retry
- Reset
- Reinstall
- Restore
So maybe I'm just incredibly pissed that my iPod just died on me. But maybe not. Apple is a huge company and it is growing every single day. People are becoming scarily dependent on them. Hello? Anybody else find this slightly unnerving?

P.S. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW I CAN RESET MY IPOD WITHOUT VISITING A STORE, PLEASE TELL ME!!!!

Car of the Week
This is yet another gorgeous car. It ranked in the Top 20 Cars that I would love to own one day. Not only that, but compared to some sports cars, the Z4 does pretty well in terms of gas mileage, which, if you haven't already figured it out, is sort of the point of this blog. The Z4 originally came out in 2003, replacing BMW's older Z3.
Highway MPG ~ 29
City MPG ~ 20
Base MSRP ~ $40,400
My rating ~ 4 stars

Gas Price Updates
I suggest you fill up now before New Hampshire is solidly in the threes. Say good-bye to $2.99. Already it's up to $3.05. I'm gonna estimate we'll be in the threes throughout New Hampshire by February 1st. But that's just me and things change. Prices were going up, then they dropped, but they didn't drop as much as I expected and now we're going back up from 2.99 to 3.05.
